Job summary:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst who will be part of our Business Analytics Group responsible for efficient execution of our analytics platform and solutions. The successful candidate researches, analyzes designs, proposes, and delivers the analytics solution(s) that are optimal for the needs identified by working within the Business Analytics Group framework. The successful candidate also is a skilled communicator, working closely with business units and technical resources to understand requirements, communicate specifications, and oversee analytics testing and delivery.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the development of analytics capabilities within the Business Analytics Group.
  • Develops models and ad hoc reports, sharing observations and recommendations with senior management, executives, and stakeholders for further consideration.
  • Analyze business system processes and user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing capabilities.
  • Identifies, communicates, and endeavors to resolve data gaps that impact the fulfillment of the business’s functional requirements.
  • Identifies, evaluates, and documents potential data sources in support of project requirements within the assigned departments in the company.
  • Participates in mentoring the Analytics Leads throughout the company.
  • Participates in the formal and informal Business Analytics education throughout the company.
  • Participate in the execution of the company Data Governance program.
  • Proactively plays an analytical role in developing and validating KPIs within the business for the purpose of identifying trends and evaluating the success of the business’s initiatives.
  • Facilitating the solution design with Information Technology team.
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Analytics tools (SAP HANA modeling, SAP Business Objects, Tableau, SQL preferred).
  • Experience managing project scope, change requests, delivery against defined milestones; mitigate and remediate risk factors within propose solutions based on best practices.

Education and background:

  • Bachelor degree, preferably in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
  • 7 - 10 years of work experience, preferably in a business analyst position.
  • Experience working in analytics creation and data modeling.
  • Experience with Data Governance a plus.
