Job Summary
Lead employees in the safe and fiscally efficient operation of Company facilities, consisting of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) facilities. The position will report to the Vice President of Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction for the LNG and LPG operations teams with a focus on safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all facilities, compliance with all applicable regulations, and development of personnel.
- Efficiently and strategically manage both the OPEX and CAPEX budgets at the assigned plants.
- Execute various capital projects and operational maintenance activities at the LNG and LPG plants to support ongoing safe, efficient, and profitable operation of these facilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong leadership, conflict resolution, and communication abilities are required.
- Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel and Project required.
- Ability to perform necessary mathematical, engineering, and economic analysis.
- Ability to organize tasks for optimum performance.
- Ability to communicate clearly including the ability to describe complex technical matters such that operators can understand and apply to their duties.
- Ability to understand and apply applicable codes, regulations, and standards (e.g. 49 CFR Parts 192, 193, 195 and 199; NFPA 58, 59, 59A, and 70; ASME B31.3, B31.8, BPV Section VIII and IX).
- Ability and willingness to respond quickly to emergencies and operating upsets outside of normal business hours.
Education and Experience
- BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred, or comparable experience enabling the applicant to perform the duties herein.
- Minimum of 10 years of operational experience in the energy industry required.
