Job Summary

Assist with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of UGI Energy Services, Inc. propane terminals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in routine terminal operating procedures including inventory, railcar unloading, truck loading and unloading, etc.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment related to terminal functions. including vapor compressors, pumps, rail towers, valves, automated equipment, etc.
  • Maintain manuals for operating, maintenance, emergency, training and safety.
  • Ability to travel to any of UGI Energy Services, Inc. six (6) facilities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow and enforce procedures.
  • Professional, reliable, self-directing work habits.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS software.
  • Experience working with regulated commodities.
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  Related technical / mechanical degree is desired.
  • At least 5 years of industry related experience.
  • Formal experience in the trades preferred.
