Job Summary
Assist with all aspects of the day-to-day operations of UGI Energy Services, Inc. propane terminals.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in routine terminal operating procedures including inventory, railcar unloading, truck loading and unloading, etc.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment related to terminal functions. including vapor compressors, pumps, rail towers, valves, automated equipment, etc.
- Maintain manuals for operating, maintenance, emergency, training and safety.
- Ability to travel to any of UGI Energy Services, Inc. six facilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to follow and enforce procedures.
- Professional, reliable, self-directing work habits.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS software.
- Experience working with regulated commodities.
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Related technical / mechanical degree is desired.
- At least 5 years of industry related experience.
- Formal experience in the trades preferred.
