Job Summary

The LPG Plant Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight of all facility operations and regulatory compliance. The position will oversee the daily operation activities associated with the trucking and vaporization systems. Implement operational policies and procedures and facilitate the facility's regulatory compliance reporting and inspections requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance in the daily operation of the six propane plants.
  • Develop and monitor the facility’s operation and capital improvement project budgets.
  • Manage the facility’s regulatory compliance per requirements defined by jurisdictional agencies.
  • Lead process improvements and initiate change in support of improved safety and operations.
  • Comply with OSHA, UGI, and other applicable safety procedures.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LPG equipment in the execution of LPG operations and projects.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), and process flow diagrams
  • Supervise LPG Technicians.
  • Schedule maintenance and on-call shifts.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​Knowledge and experience in natural gas and propane operations activities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software such as MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills specifically within natural gas operations environments, conflict resolution and detailed oriented.

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of Industrial LPG operations experience.
  • Ability to interpret electrical and process schematics and equipment specifications.
  • Knowledge of LPG regulations and process, highly preferred.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
