Job Summary
As the Sr. Desktop Support Analyst they will be responsible for technical assistance, configurations to PC images for deployment, AD and inventory of all end user IT assets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
- Configure and test PC Images for deployment.
- Maintain IT Configuration and provide end user support for off-the-shelf and internal software applications.
- Update Active Directory user and computer configurations such as adds, deletes, changes and assist with password resets.
- Support IT Network peripheral hardware and software including but not limited to printers, fax machines and scanners.
- Maintain inventory of workstations and end user assets and perform quarterly reviews against active users.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
- Prior experience with maintenance, service delivery, production support, information security, risk, audit and asset documentation.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, as well as have strong analytical skills.
- MUST have capable knowledge in the following areas: PC Imaging; Server and Workstation Patch Management; Asset inventory.
- Demonstrated experience with desktop, laptop and mobile devices; Windows and Apple operating systems; applications, and their interaction with associated host systems, including, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365, and other cloud and local resources and services.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED required
- College degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field preferred
- 3 - 5 years of direct experience
