This is a summer internship position designed to assist UGIES on our efforts to deploy Robotic Process Automation (“RPA”) to business processes within the Supply team.  This internship will require someone who has general programming skills and can automate business processes using the UiPath technology platform.  The employee will be responsible for gaining an understanding of the business processes identified for automation, develop the automation within UiPath, and coordinate and document all testing of the automation with the business. 

Duties and Responsiblities:

  • Work with business unit to gain full understanding of business processes to be automated.  Assist business with efforts to document business processes.
  • Utilize the UiPath platform to design and develop the automation for the identified business processes.
  • Coordinate and document all testing of the automation with the business until automation is signed off by the business as complete and accurate.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic working knowledge within coding (C#, C/C++, Java, Javascript, Python etc.) and knowledge of object-oriented concepts.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in an efficient manner.
  • Working knowledge of basic data structures (list, vector, stack, heap), basic algorithms (sort, search, etc.) and associated time/memory complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Currently  pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Previous internship or job experience in a similar position is a plus.
