Job Summary
The Analyst I – Midstream Commercial Operations position is responsible for monitoring gathering system operations for UGIES’ midstream assets. The assets currently consist of 4 regulated and 10 unregulated midstream assets including pipeline, natural gas storage and LNG storage facilities. The Analyst assesses pipeline conditions and communicates such conditions to other members of the team. Additionally, the Analyst is responsible for matching flows to customer nominations, and managing downstream pipeline imbalances in the most cost-effective manner, while avoiding incremental expenses and penalties to the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor gathering system operations, while adhering to pipeline restrictions. Communicate changes to pipeline conditions to relevant members of the team. Manage downstream pipeline imbalances in the most cost-effective manner. Monitor customer nomination changes throughout each NAESB cycle and work either independently, or with others, to resolve issues as they arise.
- Communicate daily system requirements to Operations & CGC. Tie out customer nominations between UGI Midstream EBB and pipeline EBB, to ensure nominations are recorded accurately on a daily basis. Notify customers of any nomination discrepancies or operational issues. Confirm finalized day-ending data is recorded accurately for invoicing purposes.
- Participate in on-call after hours activities. Monitor gathering system operations and pipeline conditions for all assets, and rectify issues independently, or with the help of others.
- Prepare monthly close documents in a timely manner for customer invoice generation. Review and verify monthly interstate pipeline invoices.

Education and Experience
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
