Job Summary (Purpose):

 

The primary role of the Inside Sales Operations Rep (ISOR) is to ensure an excellent AmeriGas onboarding experience. The ISO’s main objective is to complete accurate processing of customer data in a timely manner. The ISOR also contributes to reporting of sales and operational performance through account administration activities.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • The ISO ensures timely and accurate customer account administration, processes and quality checks customer data.
  • Reviews and facilitates account maintenance from incoming email requests from ISC business groups and other departments. Shares common errors for coaching and ongoing training needs.
  • Records and closely tracks requests to consistently adhere to quality standards set forth by ISC Operations Supervisor.
  • Creates new accounts, additional ship-to’s (CM & RS), installation orders, and specialty accounts (HOA’s, RV’s, Builders).
  • Supports CRM case creation and case management. Real time case error adjustment to maintain proper workflow among all departments.
  • Proactively investigates and works to resolve new customer activation issues (1/2 series errors, NER’s, Zip Code, LL/Tenants, tax jurisdiction, partner function errors, equipment updates, address research and verification). Works closely with ISC Representatives and Supervisors to reach a resolution and contact customer. 
  • Engages supporting departments (SAP Support, Business Services, Central pricing) to assist in fixing common systematic errors and account updates.
  • Reviews and processes billing requests and AR maintenance (CM &RS). Performs audit of requests to ensure proper processing. Identifies and shares common errors from representatives and other departments.
  • Consistently works various CRM queues to process TKO final bills, site survey requests, billing cases, new customer funnel, and tank sales.
  • Handles specialty projects for the business to support growth and retention. Team engages in contacts for fire relief, hurricane follow-up, and escalations requiring multiple contacts.
  • The ISO engages in sales center activities/events, including but not limited to sales meetings, training, and contests.

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Strong knowledge and accurate use of business systems and tools such as CRM, SAP, Microsoft office products, Calabrio, internet, etc.
  • Ability to take independent action with general supervisory direction.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.  Competency in effective and professional business reporting and writing.
  • Strong work and time management skills; able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent collaboration and networking skills; comfortable interacting and negotiating with individuals and other departments across the organization as necessary to collect and report data that supports sales and retention enablement and revenue.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Motivated and results driven

 

Education and Experience Required:

 

  • High School diploma required; AA degree or two-year equivalent preferred.
  • One year working in an operations/administration/sales environment required.
  • Prior propane or AmeriGas experience helpful, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn propane operations and service required.

The pay for this position ranges from $22.45/hr. to $26.00/hr., depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
