Job Summary (Purpose):
To coordinate and provide support for the Region Director in the areas of communications, scheduling, reporting and administration which will allow the Region Director the time needed to travel extensively as they provide support to their Region.
Key Characteristics:
- Position acts as the central communications point for the Region and networks as needed while under minimal supervision from the Region Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Administration: Acts as the Office Supervisor for the Region Director.
2. Daily Communications: Answer, review, and handle with appropriate response all incoming calls, e-mails, daily mail, etc.
3. Scheduling: Create, maintain and update the Region Director’s monthly scheduling calendar which includes:
- Conference Calls
- Due dates for reports
- Due dates for responses from individuals
- Schedule of meetings/trainings
- Upcoming events
4. Report Processing: Responsible for a variety of reports coming into and going out of the Region on scheduled basis such as:
- Manage the dispenser file for each district and send out notices of updates that are needed
- Maintain record of monthly safety meetings. Retrieve checks on Certificate of Violations on all DOT employees. Compile all meeting each month for the Region and forward. Send out notices for DOT physicals and drivers licenses that will be expiring.
- Compile and compete weekly Contribution Margin reports and forward.
- Contact managers for random Drug & Alcohol testing of the district employees.
- Maintain pricing book for all districts that includes updates and new offers.
- Finance: Review all expense reports and process all payables for Regional office. Assist in annual budgets, spreadsheets, etc. Maintain petty cash.
- Vehicles: As required PM Vehicle Reports.
5. District Support: Supports the districts in Human Resources, Sales, Safety and other areas as needed.
- Human Resources: Send out monthly calendar to managers for employees due annual and mid-year reviews. Review all new hire packets.
- Sales: Type bids, letters, place orders, etc. for Sales Reps in the Region as needed. Create flyers for sales incentives.
- Safety: Set up Monthly Safety Committee conference calls and notify participants. Keep up to date records of training on district employees CETP, Certificate of Violations, etc. Complete payouts for Region Safety Award Program.
- Managers: Assist the manager’s requests for support of projects they have.
- CRRs: Back up support for district CRRs.
- Employees: Assist district employees with any questions related to insurance, policies or practices they may have.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be proactive and responsive to all issues and concerns.
- Should have at least 5 years in AmeriGas and understand the various district operations.
Education and Experience Required:
• High School Diploma plus ability on all office equipment and have computer skills at an intermediate level using Microsoft office products.
• 5+ years in a fast paced business operation or similar office setting

The pay for this position ranges from $32.00 to $32.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales depending on position.
