Job Summary
The Project Administrator is responsible for project controls tasks and deliverables related to Growth and Maintenance Capital Projects. The Project Administrator supports project managers and other stakeholders throughout projects in areas of estimating, cost tracking, scheduling, variance analysis, resource planning, document management, closeout processes, administrative functions, and other pertinent project information.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide cost estimates, support Request For Proposal (RFP)/Bid processes, and assist with development of forecasts for capital projects.
- Work with other project analysts, project management personnel, and project stakeholders as needed to refine, compare, conduct variance analysis, and update financial information.
- Develop and update schedules for capital projects based on key milestones, deadlines, regulatory requirements, project changes, and other aspects affecting overall project timelines.
- Work with the Capital Construction group to support resource planning and fulfill budget owner responsibilities; update Power Plan and SAP systems as appropriate and develop / run reports to track budget progress.
- Assist with the closeout process for capital projects ensuring all documentation procedures are complete and in compliance including as-built drawings, MTR and material data, GIS data, construction job books, and other project-related material.
- Coordinate electronic and hard copy document management procedures for projects to ensure consistency and uniformity; update the Capital Project Management Sharepoint site and coordinate access to third-party share sites as needed.
- Execute additional duties and responsibilities as required and directed by the Director of Project Management and Construction.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to build strong relationships.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/analytics preferred
- 5 years minimum
