Job Summary (Purpose):  


The Customer Digital Experience (CDX) Project/Program Manager works in conjunction with the CDX Leadership/Team, IT, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, business stakeholders, and senior leaders in support of multiple initiatives and performs project management duties involving cross-functional teams focused on delivery of programs that are vital to strategic direction/goals and enhancements of organizational processes. Matrix-manages programs working closely with both internal employees and contractors. Most assignments will involve a hands-on approach working closely with business, technical, field and product owners/teams at the task level.

  • Strong program planning/management skills. Defines project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value. 
  • Proven ability to manage risks and issues and quickly correct deviations from plans.
  • Effective communicator (written and verbal), able to organize/lead project status and working meetings, as well as prepare and distribute progress reports.
  • Experience with digital customer journeys and supporting/emerging technologies.
  • Liaison between IT and business; ability to explain technical information in easy to understand business terms and vice versa. 



Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adequate resource allocation, track deliverables, and assist with steering team meeting preparations and reporting. 
  • Identify dependencies across work streams that may result in redundancies, impact project timelines or deliverables.
  • Oversee plans and work with stakeholders to direct schedules as well as project budgets. 
  • Monitor programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interface with internal employees and/or contract resources supporting the project. 
  • Organize project activities and interdepartmental meetings; ensure completion of programs/projects on schedule and within budget constraints. 
  • Champion communications framework to report out on all projects, programs, and customer engagements appropriate with needed operational, tactical, and strategic goals.
  • Drive the integration of IT development and business requirements to support business value.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Proven program/project management experience. 
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience having managed large-scale project implementations in a PMO.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and across various levels of organization to drive projects. 
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast paced and agile environment. 


Education and Experience Required:


  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business or Communications.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, but not required. 
  • Agile methodology essentials.
  • 5-10 years of experience in project management.
  • 3-5 years of experience involving CDX programs.
