Job Summary (Purpose):  

The IT Asset Management Administrator provides support to the AmeriGas environment relating to hardware and software.   Responsible for administrative duties within the IT inventory management function including the maintenance of records and databases containing information regarding licenses for the organization's hardware and software. Minimizes organizational cost through product standardization and tracking.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Leverages the ServiceNow platform to verify and request hardware and software for all AmeriGas and UGI Corporate users through onboarding and off boarding process.  
•    Will be responsible for the procurement of hardware and software as needed depending on current inventory levels. 
•    Responds to customer contacts, providing excellent customer service, and fast and courteous incident resolution.  
•    Update documentation and procedures as needed for hardware and software management process. 
•    Work closely with other teams and vendors to create working solutions for issues.
•    Update and administer asset databases, tracking life cycle of all assets.
•    Monitor and record software license and/or hardware assets to ensure compliance with vendor agreements.
•    Implement and review inventory procedures for all technical services groups.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•    Professional telephone, verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact with users of all ability levels.
•    Working knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
•    Strong drive for proactive continuous self and process improvement.
•    Thrive in an environment where team and individual performance is measured on multiple characteristics.
•    Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple competing priorities.


Education and Experience Required:

•    Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field  
•    1 -2 years of experience working in a related IT environment or providing strong Customer Service to internal or external customers.

Working conditions:

•    Normal office environment
•    Must have the ability to lift boxes of 25 – 50 pounds when doing random physical inventory of hardware
