Compensation Analyst

Job Summary (Purpose): 

 

The Compensation Analyst provides compensation and HR systems support for new and existing initiatives within the human resources group. Is directly responsible for base pay administration, reporting and analysis, incentive administration, and HR system support. Works on initiatives related bringing technology and business process improvements and efficiencies.

  • Ability to provide in-depth analysis within assigned timelines to support HR initiatives and projects
  • Has an excellent corporate HQ office acumen and communications ability.
  • Financial aptitude with solid understanding of finance and accounting

 


Duties and Responsibilities:
 

  • Responsible for base pay administration including creation of job descriptions, managing the job code library, annual merit budget process, and provide salary recommendations
  • Researches compensation issues and provides in depth analysis.
  • Administration of incentive plans including calculations, payouts, and communications 
  • Administration of the company severance plan which includes the drafting, calculating and mailing cycle to ensure receipt for signed agreements and payment of all severance packages. 
  • Provide position management support within SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Provides ad hoc reporting support to HR Directors and HR Managers on information requests
  • Administration of annual performance management and merit process including system setup, communications, and ongoing support

 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Has advanced skills in working with Microsoft Office tools including
  • Intermediate financial analysis skill in statistics and accounting.
  • Must have ability to successfully perform independent in depth analysis

 

 
Education and Experience Required:
 

  • BA or BS degree in Business, Human Resources, Accounting or related field
  • 2 to 5 years HR experience.  Compensation or HR Generalist experience a plus
