Job Summary (Purpose):  

The Account Management Specialist position is responsible for maintaining National Account customer records in SAP to comply with contractual obligations and troubleshooting National Accounts customer issues in partnership with Field Operations, the Sales team and other key stakeholders.  Customer issues and account changes must be prioritized and identified, tracked in Microsoft Dynamics 365, and followed through until a resolution is reached and the case is closed.  The position provides an expert level of account support to address issues quickly and effectively.

•    Strong understanding of account management, the key elements to setup the account in SAP and the importance of compliance with customer contracts and expectations.
•    Excellent, proven organizational skills, including strong attention to detail and managing multiple projects simultaneously
•    Highly responsive and can work at a quick pace with excellent communication skills when working with internal and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•    Identify, review and complete account maintenance requests, by referencing all resources and tools available to ensure compliance with customer agreements and expectations.
•    Evaluate customer issues, track them through Microsoft Dynamics 365, and update customer accounts in SAP for all service and contractual change requests.
•    Provide appropriate solutions and act to solve National Account customer issues within given timeframes and follow up with appropriate teams to ensure completion.  
•    Drive customer satisfaction by providing accurate information and status reporting to customers and key stakeholders.
•    Maintain strong relationships with customers and field operating teams by providing clear communication, account knowledge and support.
•    Adhere to a high level of personal organization and professionalism when dealing with all key stakeholders such as customers, districts, vendors and partners. 
•    Perform any additional tasks as requested by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•    Strong organization and prioritization skills combined with the ability to handle multiple tasks and ever-changing priorities.
•    Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
•    Experience with a CRM type system preferred
•    SAP knowledge a plus 

Education and Experience Required:

•    Bachelor’s degree in a related field
•    3 to 5 years of account management experience
