Job Summary:
Provides internal and external customer support for the Wholesale Sales Department by improving customer service while enhancing company sales. Administers sales territories in the absence of the Wholesale Sales Representative (WSR). Develops and generates “new” sales markets through inside sales.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintains and supports sales territories (price quotes, process orders) in absence of the WSR. This may include supporting more than one sales territory at a time.
• Provides analytical support for the Wholesale Department includingManager of Wholesale  and the Director of Wholesale
• Analyses data
• Knowledge of cost structure components to provide accurate customer price quotes and secure the sale
• Generate sales leads through enhanced prospect research, which includes capturing key information and the ability to prove a fast track price quote.
• Develops customer data reports for customer presentations, reviews and/or proposals; prepares customer proposals and presentations for WSR.
• Establishes customer accounts in TOOLS system; collects customer credit and delivery information.
• Performs customer credit collections.
• Administers customer price quotes based on current market conditions.
• Develops and maintains the Wholesale customer database system (ACT)
• Generates and distributes wholesale customer price notifications.
• Maintains and monitor WSR inventory balances and supply contracts.
• Processes all wholesale loads generated from field Sales Representatives (process load/contracts from entry to completion).
• Collects and processes all wholesale customer pick up loads and contacts AmeriGas suppliers and wholesale customers.
• Develops spreadsheets and tracking programs for the WSR’s and Director of Wholesale.
• Develops sales programs through current supply agreements. These programs lead to developing customer presentations for field sales reps.
• Generates reports for the WSR, Manager of Wholesale  and Director of Wholesale, by analyzing customer/competition data collected through TOOLS/FAST, field sales reps and general investigation

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
• Position requires knowledge of Microsoflt Office, ACT/CRM Systems and FAST-TOOLS
• Ability to analyze and interpret data in excel to provide meaningful insights
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage high call volumes and manage time effectively
• Required to be available at night and weekends to handle customer needs
 
 Education Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree
 
 Previous Experience Required:
• Position requires a minimum of three years previous sales and customer service experience with sales support, credit collections and data input.
• Position requires experience with MS Office and ACT/CRM System database
