ACE Ops/dock Supervisor

Job Summary (Purpose):

Oversee Greensburg, PA District ACE operation at McKnight Cylinder in Ruffs Dale, PA.  Complete paperwork on cylinder inventory, physically sort cylinders from Greensburg ACE delivery trucks before being tendered to McKnight for processing.  Load and unload ACE beverage trucks including forklift operation.  Daily work requires working autonomously, but requires supervision of seasonal workers during the spring/summer season.  


Duties and Responsibilities:

Track and report cylinder inventory.   Interface with McKnight Cylinder regarding ACE inventory needs.  Report daily work records for temporary workers.  Will track and report returned cylinders from Greensburg ACE operation and determine type of refurbishing needed for these cylinders.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must be able to be forklift certified, able to perform physical lifting of cylinders.   Must be able to operate a fax machine. Must be able to account for daily inventory and cylinder float. Previous experience in propane or related industry would be a plus.  Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Education and Experience Required:

High School graduate.  Preferably some supervisory experience as well as experience in propane industry or a related industry.


Working conditions:

Ability to work primarily outside in any type of weather condition is a requirement.  Be able to physically handle cylinders and operate a forklift.
