Territory Sales Representative

We are looking for an experienced Outside Sales Rep to service a territory in the Boise, ID. area. The ideal person for this role will have a proven track record of success in developing new business in an industrial / commercial business market. This person will practice solutions-based B2B sales and have a self-directed, "hunter" mentality. Local candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Summary:

 

The Territory Sales Representative sells solutions-oriented services in a specific geographic assignment. Meets and exceeds revenue and gross profit quotas.

 

Distinguishing Characteristics:

 

• Ability to Effectively Prospect, Phone Block, Cold Call, make multiple sales presentations in a given day/week/month to meet objective of closing new accounts each day/week/month and year.

 

• Understands AmeriGas business and is an expert on products and solutions.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

•Primary job function is to increase revenue from prospecting and closing new business.

•Establishes relationships with prospective customers through the use of various prospecting techniques.

•Develops a business plan for specific geographic

•Builds connections and interfaces with decision-makers in potential client organizations to lead them to the AmeriGas solution.

•Makes the personal time commitment to build the client relationship both during normal work hours and special events.

•Prepares and presents sales proposals to prospective customers.

•An "expert" on products and solutions and is current on regulatory changes

•Works with Sales Manager and vendors to learn solutions and sales techniques.

•Maintains working knowledge of applications.

•Attends periodic meetings and training classes as required.

 

• Administrative

•Prepares various internal paperwork (i.e., sales orders, activity reports, etc.)

 

 

  • Must have relevant experience with a CRM based program, tracking daily activity and closes.

•Must comply with all company policies.

•Must have all sales skills needed to Prospect, Phone Block, Cold Call, Present Solutions and Close!

 

Previous Experience Required:

 

• 3 - 5 years in a B2B outside sales position with all sales competencies needed to establish and grow our customer base.
