Job Summary

 

This position will remain open for application submissions until May 24, 2024.

The Recruiter will be responsible for the management of the recruitment process for high-volume AmeriGas field roles, including talent sourcing, candidate identification, relationship building with potential candidates and hiring managers for professional roles.

Key responsibilities of the Recruiter include working with the hiring managers to identify talent requirements, fulfilling the day to day full cycle recruiting process, and cultivating talent pools to meet current and future business needs of AmeriGas field roles.

The Recruiter will continuously assess the state of competitive market conditions and make recommendations on innovative recruiting tactics and implement them as appropriate.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for assigned roles and pipelines that attract and identify passive, top talent.
  • Create and maintain a business partnership with hiring managers by working proactively and cooperatively to understand requirements, determine needs, and establish strategies to successfully fill positions.
  • Build a robust pipeline of talent, gain market intelligence and assess candidates to gauge talent alignment for a specific role or business function.
  • Work collaboratively with department managers to select the best candidate for each job.
  • Screen, interview, and prepare candidates with appropriate and consistent timeline.
  • Integrate diversity, equality, and inclusion approach and knowledge in recruitment.
  • Learn new technologies, new processes, and experimental ways to attract candidates.
  • Understanding of basic compensation principles and ability to partner with HR clients/managers on competitive offer generation and successful closing with candidates.
  • Provide mentorship to Junior Recruiters.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated effective communication skills to build strong relationships with potential recruits, community partners, current applicants, and hiring managers.
  • Expert in leveraging Applicant Tracking System for sourcing.
  • Proficiency sourcing active and passive candidates through all available channels (including LinkedIn Recruiter, indeed, job boards, networking events, social media, local community, school partnerships, etc.).
  • Passionate, motivated, and excited to flourish in an environment that requires juggling multiple projects.
  • Exceptional follow-through and sense of urgency to ensure service excellence.
  • Effectively manage multiple stakeholders with strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Collaborates effectively with other team members, and supports a positive and safe culture.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and learns quickly from constructive feedback.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task.

Education and Experience

  • 3+ years progressive experience in talent acquisition/recruitment.
  • Preferred experience in high-volume recruitment and/or recruiting CDL Drivers.

The pay for this position ranges from $82,000.00 to 114,000.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
