Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing - Team Lead, you will be the driving force behind our proactive talent pipeline strategy—leading a team of sourcing specialists to identify, engage, and nurture exceptional candidates before the competition does. You’ll combine data-driven sourcing techniques with a human touch, ensuring every interaction reflects our brand’s values and culture.
In this role, you’ll partner closely with our recruiting team and hiring managers to anticipate future talent needs, design innovative sourcing campaigns, and leverage advanced tools, platforms, and market insights to uncover hidden talent. Beyond filling roles, you’ll shape how we attract and inspire top-tier professionals, building a sustainable talent ecosystem that fuels our company’s growth.

Essential Functions:
- Build and lead the sourcing function — establishing sourcing strategy, operating standards from the ground up; serve as the primary architect of UGI's proactive talent acquisition capability.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines for critical, recurring, and hard-to-fill roles ahead of requisition activity; ensure the TA team has warm, qualified candidates ready when hiring needs arise.
- Deliver ongoing market intelligence to TA leadership, recruiters, and hiring managers — including talent availability, competitor hiring trends, benchmarks, and emerging skill gaps across key disciplines.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize sourcing intelligence platforms, ATS/CRM tools, and AI-powered sourcing solutions; establish usage standards and ensure data integrity across the team.
- Define, track, and report on sourcing performance metrics — outreach volume, response rates, pipeline conversion, source of hire, and time-to-pipeline; use data to continuously refine strategy and demonstrate ROI
- Conduct talent mapping for key roles and functions — understanding where talent lives, who competitors are, and what candidates care about; identify talent trends and flag emerging skill gaps or hard-to-fill markets to TA leadership.
- Coach and develop Sourcers — setting individual performance standards, providing regular feedback, and building long-term team capability through structured development plans and ongoing skill-building.
- Partner with the TA Leadership team to align sourcing activity with recruitment marketing campaigns, employer brand initiatives, and talent community growth strategies.
- Conduct hands-on sourcing for the most critical and sensitive roles as needed; model best-in-class sourcing techniques and serve as a subject matter expert for the broader TA team.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated expertise in proactive sourcing strategy, passive candidate engagement, and talent pipeline development across a range of functions and levels
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a sourcing team — setting standards, providing feedback, and building long-term capability
- Analytical mindset with ability to track and interpret sourcing metrics — outreach volume, response rates, pipeline conversion, and source of hire.
- Deep proficiency with sourcing technology including LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ATS/CRM tools, and AI-powered sourcing solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with experience defining and tracking sourcing KPIs — outreach volume, response rates, pipeline conversion, cost per hire, and source of hire.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate workforce planning priorities into proactive sourcing roadmaps and pipeline-building strategies.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to present market intelligence and sourcing insights to TA leadership, HR Business Partners, and hiring managers.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge and skills.
- Minimum 5 years of talent sourcing or recruiting experience, including at least 2 years in a lead, senior, or people management capacity.

The pay for this position ranges from $86,600.00 to 121,200.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation includes eligibility to earn a performance-based bonus or commissions on completed sales.
