Job Summary

The Recruitment Manager is responsible for the strategy and leadership of AmeriGas field recruiting. This individual will partner with both the AmeriGas business and the Talent Acquisition leadership team to provide a strong performing in-house recruiting team for the AmeriGas business. The Recruiting Manager will lead the team of field Recruiters while simultaneously building creative hiring solutions to bring in a volume of quality talent for the AmeriGas business unit.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Understand and translate AmeriGas business needs to Field Recruiting focus, priorities, and client management
  • Serves as the point of contact for the AmeriGas leadership team and managers as the TA point of contact for the business, while acting as a filter and liaison between other key teams that support TA processes
  • Supports the development of process standardization for AmeriGas Talent Acquisition in partnership with TA Operations
  • Leads the development and implementation of high-volume recruitment processes and innovations
  • Supports reporting strategy that drives accountability, action, and compliance throughout the TA organization
  • Creates and manages sourcing strategies for identified critical vacancies for both salaried and hourly hiring across multiple businesses
  • Build and manage grassroots recruiting strategies for AmeriGas field recruiting
  • Build and lead a team of recruiters focused on AmeriGas field recruiting
  • Partner with the centralized TA team, HR and business on building process improvements and local marketing strategies

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrates organizational awareness and uses influence effectively.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results against clearly defined deadlines is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is required.
  • Analytical problem solving and attention to details.
  • Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy which includes the ability to speak and write clearly to deliver customer service excellence in person, over the phone, through email, and as a presenter.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience demonstrating breadth of assignments.
  • 7+ years experience in Talent Acquisition
  • 3+ years experience managing high-volume Talent Acquisition teams
