The Global Cyber Security & Incident Response Program Manager’s primary responsibilities will be to manage and execute assigned UGI Corp Cybersecurity projects by developing clearly defined deliverables that are executed with the agreed-upon results and that related findings, changes and important steps are communicated to all relevant stakeholders in a timely manner. In addition the role will govern the Threat Intelligence Program (Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, and Configuration Management, & IT Security Tools ), drive and coordinate all incident response team activity that rise to a breach level to keep the team focused on minimizing damage, and recovering quickly, while keeping leadership abreast, and coordinate table top exercises.

Execution includes working with multiple Information Technology colleagues, leadership/stakeholders and vendors to monitor compliance meet/exceed UGI Corp initiatives and projects and drive the incident response program. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, producing status reports and presentations, coordinating/creating policies, standards and procedures, managing projects against project plans, monitoring threat intelligence metrics against standards and updating and managing the incident response plan.  

This individual will work under the direction of the UGI Corp CISO to contribute to the development and advancement of the overall Security program.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects with broad scope and ambiguity with a high degree of technical knowledge.
  • Drive compliance through metrics, while governing the Threat Intelligence Program through policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
  • Own the vendor relationships that drive the Threat Intelligence.
  • Manage the security incident response plan, including coordinating the table top exercises and leading all UGI incidents that reach a breach level.
  • Partner with stakeholders to evaluate security posture, which will include gathering and communicating KRIs, KPIs and other qualitative and quantitative results.
  • Ensure standards, guidelines and procedures exist to support the Threat Intelligence processes through collaboration with SMEs.
  • Partner with Internal Audit to on process that support the Threat Intelligence programs and ensure threat intelligence program audit observation action plans are measureable and fully address the audit recommendations to mitigate risks identified.
  • Drive continuous improvement and compliance.  


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Information Technology or Cyber Security) preferred
  • Minimum of 7+ years of working experience in IT or Information Security
  • Cybersecurity and project management certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, and/or PMP are desired
  • Very strong formal Project/Program management abilities
  • Working experience in the Energy/Gas industry preferred
  • Maintain a working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and concepts
  • Experience managing and leading cyber security and technology projects through the full life cycle
  • Experience working with Vulnerability management and Patch Management solutions
  • Strong understanding of operating systems, network protocols, and applications development
  • Knowledge of NIST, PCI, and other cybersecurity standards will be a plus
  • A good understanding of threat intelligence and endpoint security
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively across all levels within the UGI Family of Companies
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to lead meetings and engage stakeholders
  • Structured project management experience in deploying security-related initiatives
  • Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Working knowledge of Vendor management and procurement processes
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a wide range of IT security technologies and platforms
  • Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions and recommendations with limited data
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems with a risk focus
  • A self-starter with ability to independently manage work and drive multiple deliverables concurrently
  • Demonstrated history of seeing the big picture, driving change and managing for results while executing against multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to multi-task and make sound judgments in a fast-paced, high stress environment
  • Believes in collaboration and transparency
