To gain entry-level experience performing internal SOX control procedures and providing administrative support for UGI Corporation’s Controls department.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting Finance management with the design, oversight and coordination of SOX controls testing at the Corporate office or from a Work from Home environment
  • Execute testing for UGI’s global SOX program
  • Interact with internal and external auditors to support their SOX audit efforts
  • Support the Senior – Internal Control in the administration of the SOX program
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the Finance department, with Management and other Business Units
  • Gain an understanding of the company's business, regulatory environment and reporting requirements.
  • Special projects, administrative tasks and other duties as assigned

 

Requirements include:

  • Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field with graduation expected within the next 12-24 months
  • Prior accounting or audit co-op or internship experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of accounting and internal control concepts
  • Strong aptitude and willingness to learn and receive instruction
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
