The Enterprise Project Manager provides project management for a variety of IT project initiatives within a portfolio (includes both application and infrastructure projects). The Project Manager strives to standardize and improve efficiency and productivity.  In addition to managing project execution, the Project Manager needs to support pre-project work, such as developing the business case, resource planning, vendor and team selection, budget preparation, etc. Given the distributed nature of the organization, communications and persuasion skills are critical, as the incumbent will also work with the business units and functional leadership teams.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Project Management
•    Pre-project work – participate in business case development, resource planning and team selection, and other pre-project planning activities
•    Develop comprehensive project plan and monitor project progress, and report the project status to sponsor, stakeholders and senior leadership
•    Manage project execution following the PM process and adapt work as required to ensure timely delivery of business requirements on budget 
•    Collaborate with Finance and sponsor to establish the project budget, secure funding, resources, and perform budget vs. actual analysis 
•    Perform stakeholder analysis and change impact assessment to effectively influence, communicate and drive changes 
•    Identify project risks and effectively mitigate them to secure project success
•    Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation and coordinate the deliverable submission, review and signoffs

 

PMO Processes, Tools and Template
•    Develop and maintain the IT PMO processes and project governance framework
•    Provide training and knowledge sharing with BU project managers
•    Lead PMO tool evaluation, selection and implementation 
•    Lead PMO template creation and updates 

 

Project Management Support Governance Oversight
•    Provide necessary project management support to BU project managers in project assessment, prioritization, planning, execution, and post-mortem reporting
•    Provides oversight of a project’s lifecycle to ensure successful delivery

 

Job Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration or a related discipline 
•    Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Mathematics desirable 
•    Project management certificates from PMI, strongly preferred
•    Hands-on Project Management experience with a record of accomplishment of successful execution of complex and/or large-scale projects (i.e. cross-functional and/or global projects)  
•    Demonstrated thought leadership skills and creativity, as well as strong organizational skills
•    Ability to coordinate and monitor project task work and to influence at all levels (project team, stakeholders and senior leadership) to achieve desired outcomes 
•    Strong people skills for effectively communication, negotiation and conflict resolution  
•    Experience in training, knowledge transferring and coaching
