The IT Infrastructure & Productivity Tools Administrator & Supervisor is responsible for the administration, documentation and technical support of the ServiceNow and Identity Governance platforms and other identified tools, as well as supervising the support team and managing daily workload among the team. The incumbent should have a fundamental understanding of the ITIL business processes and IT service management; must demonstrate administrative experience in ServiceNow and Identity Governance applications, must have proven ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams simultaneously and facilitate communication between business managers and the development team. Support the businesses’ efforts in continuous improvement activities and metrics reporting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Work in conjunction with ServiceNow Architect; aligning on the development of the tool
  • Delegate daily support work among the development team
  • Quickly ascertain the needs of the customer by carefully listening, and accurately logging issues in a comprehensive manner.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of business needs; translate user requirements into the application, adjusting as necessary to fit the need with the current process or procedure.
  •  Maintain Technical Specifications Documentation, ensuring processes are properly documented.
  • Maintain and support identified Productivity Tool(s) operational functions, monitoring health, usage and overall compliance of the application.
  • Stay current on all new technologies and communicate the latest policies and procedures.
  • Conduct 1x1’s; appraisals and status meetings
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:

 

  • Minimum 3 -4 years’ experience working in service delivery environment or related field.
  • Additional coursework demonstrating commitment to skills development.
  • Previous experience as a Line Manager

 

Education and Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.  (Preferred MIS, IS; Computer Science; or Business).
  • Previous ServiceNow administration experience prefered
  • Previous Identity Governance administration experience
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator; Identity Governance Access Certification preferred
  • Experience with Active Directory; Single Sign-on authentication 
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, as well as general PC hardware, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP), wireless communication, and anti-virus software. 

 

Other Requirements:

 

  • After hours and weekend work required if needed to respond to business need, and emergency events.
