Job Summary:

Assist existing warehouse employees with pulling materials requested for planned and emergency work, assist in receiving materials from vendors, areas, field – verifying receipt quantity against ship/order quantity, put received materials away in proper location(s), assist with other duties as necessary including verifying or counting on hand quantities, entering transactions, checking & receiving material returns, organization of warehouse, pipe yard & materials, routine warehouse housekeeping.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Assist existing warehouse employees with pulling and issuing materials requested for planned and emergency work.
  • Receive materials from vendors, areas, and field – verifying receipt quantity against ship/order quantity.  Put received material away in proper locations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary including cycle counting and verifying on hand quantities or materials.
  • Organization of warehouse, pipe yard and materials; material/shelf labeling and general routine housekeeping of warehouse and pipe yard areas.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • General knowledge of warehouse and inventory operations.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Must be highly organized with good communication and math skills.
  • Adhere to Safety policies including appropriate PPE for warehouse activities including vest, steel toes, safety glass and cut proof gloves; pandemic PPE.


Education and Experience:


  • High School diploma or equivalent required; enrolled in college or technical courses preferred
  • Business, warehouse, inventory, supply chain experience preferred; use of material handling equipment.


Pay Rate: $12.00hr
