Job Summary

Provide office expertise through utilization of various company programs and Microsoft Office for the support of various departments in the Wilkes Barre area.  Mainly supporting the OSS / Meter Reading and Operations Departments (PNG Wide). 

Duties and Responsibilities

Ops Rep I

  • Process meter reading calls and disperse field representative’s paperwork.  Coordinate schedules for Wilkes Barre area (PNG Central).
  • Use SAP, Itron FCS (Field Collection System), and other miscellaneous company applications to complete such duties as assigning routes, preparing and/or completing orders, running reports, troubleshoot problems with equipment, etc.
  • Complete timesheets in R2 for field personnel.  Research and complete various reports and notifications.
  • Miscellaneous, ordering office supplies/equipment, filing, assisting in OSS projects, and other duties as assigned.
  • Backup, learning and maintaining knowledge to be the backup for OSS offices.


Ops Rep II

  • Process calls regarding meter reading and collections, handle termination emails for field representatives.  Maintain daily tracking reports.  Coordinate the service order/collection order schedule with Central Dispatch for Wilkes Barre area (PNG Central).
  • Enter timesheet data into R2 to capture the field employees’ daily work.  Maintain the necessary records for the time keeping information (Field employees’ productivity timesheets)
  • Execute processes on the SAP and Itron FCS (Field Collection System).  This includes scheduling Routes for all Wilkes Barre area and Back Up for all OSS Departments.
  • Review and Upload FCS (Field Collection System) reports and process all action items on these reports.
  • Coordinate special orders for Meter Reading / Collections in Wilkes Barre area (PNG Central).
  • Coordinate all problems with intra company departments to insure timely, accurate meter reads.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Department Heads.

Ops Rep II

  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft Applications, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.  This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of business principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Organization Managing one's own time and the time of others.
  • The ability to listen to/read and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.  The ability to communicate information and ideas verbally/in writing so others will understand.
  • Use of company applications Utilisphere, DOJM, SAP, R2, Fieldglass, Mapframe, Fiori, Smallworld, FCS, etc.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
