This position will support all areas of engineering and operations function within the Distribution Department. This includes support of accounting, SAP, customer service, data tracking and analysis, billing and invoicing.


Principal Accountabilities:

  • Provide support to the Distribution Line Supervisor and Contractor Line Supervisor – Dispatch and resolve meter and lighting orders in Mobile Dispatch. Administer the ARCOS callout program during normal work hours, including schedules for vacations, off-call, workday extensions and generating callout reports. Coordinate flagging resources utilized by company and contractor construction resources including tracking invoices. Schedule linemen physicals, work with UGI Line Supervisor to coordinate scheduling of vehicle repairs/PM’s an annual dielectric testing. Semi-annually order all FR clothing for Company linemen. Perform clerical functions for the Line Department including tracking make-up time resulting from grievances, tracking scheduled overtime, assisting with scheduling customer outages, and acting as a backup for timesheet entry.
  • Provide Distribution Engineering Department Support – Generate all 4CAP Budget Line Numbers and initial DOA Pune for routing; act as back-up for DOA routing. Complete the material upload/requisition process for work orders in DOJM and SBOM in SAP. Complete PA 1-Calls for department projects and prepare PennDOT permits for submission. Track temporary service charges, initiate Yellow-Tag billing, and perform general customer outreach relative to SAP Service Notifications, right-of-way agreements, and general form letters. Perform miscellaneous record keeping for the COS Transition Program.
  • Provide Electric Warehouse Support – Review the Electric SAP material invoice INBOX and forward discrepancies to the appropriate department personnel for review. Create requisitions in SAP for various services utilized at the Forty Fort Warehouse location. Resolve pole purchase invoices and all related paperwork to Cash Remittance Department
  • Perform other general clerical duties and provide Electric Operations support as requested


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Adept in technology including PC’s with a proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Must be comfortable with data entry and report generation concepts
  • Strong organization skills with the ability and comfort level to handle multiple tasks
  • Detail oriented with general clerical skills
  • Ability to navigate and process work in SAP
  • Safety minded



  • High School Diploma – Some post high school training or education would be preferred
  • 2-years of base utility experience would be preferred
  • Valid driver’s License


Working Conditions:

  • Regular office conditions, limited field duties which could include storm restoration efforts
