Job Summary

Develop, update, implement, and present training courses in various technical subject matter for UGI personnel and contractors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and update technical training programs utilizing UGI templates, recommended software, and the ADDIE process. 
  • Present and implement training programs. Maximize training effectiveness through the proper mix of instruction, discussion, student participation, and testing. 
  • Provide technical assistance to field personnel. Provide field evaluations, training and/or testing as requested by area management or codes requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High school graduate.
  • 5-10 years of all phases of field operations advisable.
  • High degree and knowledge of fundamentals of subject matter.
  • Familiarization (working knowledge) of company operation procedures, national and industry codes and regulations.
  • Experience using the ADDIE design process. 
  • Experience using various software to design, develop, and distribute training such as, audio/video editing applications, CBT software, Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, InDesign, Captivate, etc.), Learning Management Systems, etc.
  • Ability to conduct meetings with subject matter experts.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Patience and endurance toward wide variety of personalities.

Education and Experience

  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Length of Experience: 5 to 10 years
  • Certifications: Training and/or instructional design certifications desired but not required
  • Licenses/Registrations: Various but not required
