Job Summary

This position is responsible for the tracking and data quality control functions related to the various Pipeline & Public Safety databases, programs and related metrics.  Additionally, this position provides reports and queries for performance, expense and regulatory/audit purposes related to damages, locates and cross bores.  This information is provided to, and in alignment with, various industry associations such as CGA, AGA, PA One Call, PA PUC, DOT, Gold Shovel Standard as well for Senior Management purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review daily emergency damage orders reported through the SAP work order system for quality control purposes, editing and to develop root cause, this initiates the invoice process which is managed to resolution.  This includes managing the SSD database for additions, deletions and corrections.
  • Manage, track and edit information and metrics generated from various sources such as such as PA One Call System, AVR’s (Alleged Violation Reports), Gold Shovel Standard Excavator program, Locate volumes & expenses, SSD Database, damage reports, PUC violations and so forth.
  • Provide ongoing weekly, monthly and annual reports related to damage prevention initiatives such as but not limited to; Weekly 811 Call Damage Report, Monthly Metrics, Monthly SSD Report and annual regulatory and industry benchmarking reports. 
  • Report and track PUC Alleged Violation Reports for UGI damages, non-UGI damages and violations of Act 50.  This includes managing UGI Damage Prevention Committee cases in SharePoint for acceptance, rejection and administrative penalty payments.
  • Various ad hoc queries, analysis for program development, financial or regulatory data requests.

Education and Experience
  • MIS, Computer Science or similar technical degree
  • 10 years’ experience
  • MS Office Suite
