Job Summary
Process meter cards and information to include verifying accuracy, correcting errors (including rewriting cards), entering test card data into the system, scanning cards for record-keeping, and filing them appropriately. This includes but not limited to: filing of shipping sheets, managing meter transfers, organizing meter set cards, processing meter box cards for the Reading area, and entering fixed factor card data. This role will also be responsible for completing SAP BPEM Cases and CMS SME Tickets. The shift would be Monday - Friday, 6:00AM - 2:30PM or 7:00AM - 3:30PM.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process Meter Test Cards – Process and perform daily monitoring of meter/corrector/fixed factor installation and test cards and enter the information into the SAP ECC system. Ensure the cards are legible prior to scanning and filing in the Metaviewer system.
- BPEM Exception Cases & SME Tickets - Perform daily monitoring of UGI's Reject Register within SAP ECC BPEM cases and research and correct items on register including incorrect meter condemnations, meter test rejections, incorrect meter locations, incorrect meter status, and all tenant rejections such as incorrect account numbers or addresses. Handle SME Ticket inquiries for meter shop assistance.
- Filing & Record Keeping - Filing shipping sheets, managing meter transfers and requisitions, organization of meter set cards and filing, processing meter box cards for Reading, and entering fix factor test card data.
- Ad-Hoc Requests – Other meter shop tasks that are performed as the need arises including but not limited to processing mail, various paperwork, filing, etc. in addition to supporting Meter Shop Repairmen personnel.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High-level capacity for multitasking independently and on a computer
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with SAP CRM and ECC systems a plus
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
