Job Summary

This Operations Management role in our Middletown, PA office will direct and manage a team of supervisors responsible for employees and outside contractors in the safe, reliable and cost effective installation and maintenance of UGI gas distribution facilities. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in establishing the Area operating budget for utility operations and manage Area performance to meet the budget 
  • Manage Area maintenance capital budget to ensure effective use of dollars while maintaining the integrity of the distribution system 
  • Assist in measuring and prioritizing Area marketing and operating goals consistent with Area key performance indicator objectives and requirements.  Direct the operation to meet these goals
  • Provide area leadership to encourage interdepartmental communication and cooperation in support of the mission.
  • Develop a strong supervisory team and promote individual growth and development among the operating section employees
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of construction methods and practices related to the installation and maintenance of gas facilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office experience.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Safe Driving History (confirmed by driver’s record check) – recent and/or multiple driving violations may disqualify a candidate from employment.
Education and Experience

Education:  HS Diploma or equivalent required.  Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience and training preferred.
Experience:  5 years of progressive experience in the Gas Industry
