Job Summary

This Sr. Supervisor Operations-C&M directs and manages company employees and outside contractors in the safe, reliable, and cost-effective installation and repair of UGI gas distribution facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Directly Supervise UGI and Contractor employees in the safe, reliable installation and maintenance of UGI Measurement and Regulation facilities.
  • Develop and implement cost saving measures within the Operations Dept.
  • Work with employees as a group and individually to develop and enhance skills required to perform work in the most productive and safe manner possible.
  • Complete all required paperwork and computer inputting as required.
  • Respond to and take a leadership role in emergency situations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the collective bargaining agreement and pipeline construction agreement.
  • Knowledge of UGI policies and procedures including Gas Operations Manual.
  • Ability and desire to work within a group in a team environment under stressful conditions while maintaining focus on safety, cost controls and employee development.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license during course of employment. 

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 5 plus years of progressive natural gas experience.
