Position Summary:
Participation in enhancement/problem resolution of the SAP Choice software (IDEX) to comply with Company Tariff and adherence to PUC Choice related guidelines. Implementation and maintenance of the internal Choice programs, such as supplier rate maintenance and participation in the quarterly EDI testing in conjunction with IT. Respond to inquiries from Choice Suppliers and assist in problem resolution. Generation of Choice related regulatory reports. Administration of supply related Choice business processes. 

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Ownership of all business related activities in the SAP customer information system tied to Choice administration (SAP IDEX).  Examples of activities include defect resolution of BPEM (Business Process Exception) cases and responding to Choice supplier questions. Participate in Choice system improvement initiatives and modifications tied to Choice regulations.
  • Setup and maintenance of Choice suppliers in SAP customer information system which includes Choice Supplier rate management and  participation in the quarterly Choice Electronic Data Interface (EDI) testing for new Choice suppliers.   Responsible for generating Choice related reports required by regulation (For example: Choice Switching Satistics and Choice Activity report) and ensuring reports are filed on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Administer supply related Choice business processes including billing supplier penalties (actual delivery vs daily delivery requirement (DDR) imbalances), maintaining the Choice Supplier reconciliation (delivery vs burn imbalances), and overseeing the daily & pre-month choice supplier load forecasting activities.   Maintain communication with the Supply department for all Choice related issues and/or pending changes to the Choice program.
  • Perform other Rate related duties as requested.  For example: Back up support for rates related responsibilities, participation in  and support of the Company’s base rate cases and other regulatory filings,  particularly as it pertains to Customer Choice.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skils - proficient in Excel and Word
  • General knowledge of Pennsylvania Customer Choice program
  • Good communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently

Education:    Minimum of  bachelor degree – preferably in finance, business or math studies.
Length of Experience:    0 – 3 years in Analyst role.
