Job Summary

Ensures contractor compliance with quality standards defined within contractor contracts. Leads scheduled meetings with contractors to review performance scorecards.  Acts as interface between contractors, procurement, project & construction management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor & administer the provisions of assigned contracts to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Manages Contractor Scorecards and reports on established Key Performance Indicators to contractors and internal stakeholders.  Implements corrective actions and continuous improvement plans when contractors are off track for performance metrics.
  • Develops professional and productive relationships with contractors.  Develops & maintains open communication channels with contractor leadership.
  • Lead and facilitate periodic performance review meetings with contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Supports Procurement & Project Management during bid and annual blanket contract process .
  • Manages contract issues and takes appropriate action to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of contracts, contract governance, contractual language and the contract lifecycle.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills (Verbal, Written, Presentation).
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • General understanding of utility industry practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks to effectively achieve results.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Related Field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in contracting or contract management.  Construction or utility experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
