Job Summary

Provide administrative support for the Accounting Department for various regulatory compliance processes including SOX Control Administration, Regulatory Administration, and Audit Administration. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer the Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Control program by making updates to the Blackline System, tracking completion of controls, following up on overdue deliverables, and creating status reports for the Controller. The position will also analyze the status of completion and make recommendations regarding the adjustment of work responsibilities to remove bottlenecks. 
  • Assist in project management and follow up on deliverables related to multiple initiatives such as regulatory audits, internal audit findings, regulatory reports, etc. 
  • Assist in the audit process by originating the deliverables and data requests for the department, tracking the status of deliverables, following up on overdue items, and creating status reports for the Controller. 
  • Administrative assistance for the Accounting Manager team including scheduling meetings, DocuSign routing, expense reports, new hire administration, etc.
  • Provide assistance to the Accounting Department including preparation of documents, spreadsheets, presentations and other reports, including those of a confidential nature.

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software.
  • Self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment. 
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to comfortably communicate with Executives. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with other to accomplish objectives and achieve deadlines.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
