Job Summary

The primary function of this position is the processing of user access requests, ensuring integrity and accuracy of identity data, and removing access for individuals leaving the organization or changing job functions.  The incumbents will create, modify, delete, maintain, and monitor system access for network Active Directory (AD), applications, databases, servers, and other access control subsystems, including remote access, web services, and custom applications.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage, support, and fulfill the processing of SAP GRC access requests based on established business role to title alignment catalog.  Provide SAP GRC access request submission guidance to end users for new or position transfer access requests as required.
  • Validate and process all on-boarding, off-boarding, and privilege change access requests within ServiceDesk in the most effective and efficient manner possible.  This accountability also includes the initiating, facilitating, and capturing of all necessary approvals from external application system/data owners, as well as application provisioning or the initiation of setup from external application administrators.
  • Provide support towards the resolution of open Access Administration and SAP Security Administration team incidents within ServiceDesk application.  This includes eventual involvement in rotational on-call for after hours/weekend support.
  • Provide administration of business role catalog, validate the appropriateness of a user’s role, and assist with the execution of enhancements for role changes by working directly with the SAP Security Administration team.
  • Perform other IT departmental, capital, security and/or compliance projects as assigned.
  • Generate or update Access Administration procedure or policy documentation as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Intermediate understanding of Active Directory, NTFS permissions, and Office 365 suite.
  • Previous experience with access/identity administration and role-based access.
  • General understanding of SOX and ITGCs.
  • Previous experience with direct customer interaction to provide necessary assistance.
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving techniques and listening skills.
  • Functional knowledge of Information Security concepts, policies, and procedures.
  • Capacity to mentor, train, and effectively transfer knowledge to other Access Administrators.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently and accurately with frequent interruptions.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related field or Associate degree in computer-related field with equivalent work experience preferred.
  • At least three years of IT Security Access or Identity Access Administration related experience desired.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate (within 1 year of employment) required.  CISA preferred.
  • Preferred: SAP GRC access request administration and/or general SAP user administration.
