Job Summary

Training & Change Management Support: Works with the functional solution teams to development of training content.  Work with Training Lead to design and deliver training and to communicate changes to business partners.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ongoing Support: Advises business experts in the definition of metrics, KPIs and performance related reporting and dashboards.  Works with business subject matter experts, functional leads, and IT experts in resolving issues related to existing analytics functionality and master data.  Prioritizes the analytic efforts of the Senior Analyst.
  • Governance: Defines, deploys and maintains the governance structures and mechanisms to ensure the management and quality of enterprise analytics, dashboards, metrics reporting, and related master data supporting enterprise solutions.  Leads the Senior Analyst through the maintenance of business term definitions and metrics catalog.
  • Transformation: Provides thought leadership in evolving analytics and data visualization capabilities for UGI Natural Gas.  Identifies opportunities to enhance and evolve analytical capabilities.  In collaboration with business stakeholders, functional leads and BI team defines roadmap for enhancing analytics capabilities.
  • Quality Assurance: Evaluates the quality of enterprise reports, analytics and visualizations for accuracy and completeness, and develops plans to resolve issues and improve quality and usability.  Evaluates the quality of the master data and works with relevant personnel in the improvement of master data quality.  Lead the definition of use cases, data requirements, and test scripts for enterprise analytics and visualization dashboards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical background with demonstrated experience with quantitative and financial analysis preferably (but not required) in the Utilities industry.
  • Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to gather, synthesize, interpret, and translate business informational requirements into functional requirements and visualization designs.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including ability to organize and mobilize cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions, to breach technical and business discussions, and to reach concrete work plans.
  • Organized, detailed, and results oriented.
Education and Experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with reporting and visualization, preferably Power BI and SAP Business Objects.
  • 1+ year experience building analytical models.
  • 1+ year experience in master data management.
  • ITIL Foundations at hire or within 1 year of hire.
