Job Summary

Complete all requirements for the monthly billing processes for all major account  customers within UGI South, Central, North, and the electric division major account customers.  Respond to inquiries from external customers, marketers, and consultants.  Provide support to the Relationship Managers and other various internal departments. 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive completion of the monthly billing processes for UGI South, Central, North and the Electric Division major accounts, as well as marketer and pipeline billing.  As needed, comprehensive completion of any unique billing situations which includes customer interruptions and contractual requirements.
  • Maintain and analyze data applicable to customer usage, identify potential discrepancies, and provide resolution to eliminate potential billing errors.  This is done by analyzing and updating data in the Gastar Gas Management system, Metretek Remote Metering system, and SAP.
  • Work independently responding to external inquiries (phone calls and e-mails) applicable to various billing issues; including resolving billing disputes with difficult customers.
  • Assist Relationship Managers and other departments with major account billing and Metretek inquiries and/or potential issues.
  • Maintain and analyze monthly billing summaries for Financial Accounting sales and revenue verification.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP Customer Service, Billing, Device, and BPEM screens to accurately handle major account billing and account maintenance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Gastar Gas Management System as it applies to the billing of major accounts.
  • Proficient with computer functions as it applies to various summaries and analysis completed for major accounts.
  • Full understanding of UGI South, Central, North and Electric tariffs as it relates to the complexities of major accounts billing and procedures.
  • Soft skills in handling customer inquiries and disputes.
Education and Experience
  • Associate Degree in Business and/or strong customer accounting/accounting experience.  
  • 0 - 5 years’ experience.
