The individual in this role will be engaged in the planning, implementation and management of the Gas Energy Efficiency and Conservation ("EE&C") Programs. Inherent in these functions will be the responsibility for establishing marketing strategy, managing budgets and data analysis, working with both internal and external partners to administer the EE&C programs, enhancing relationships with key service providers and trade allies, along with providing Marketing Leadership with periodic program updates.  This individual will be the senior individual contributor on the EE&C team, however, they will have responsibility for onboarding and assisting with mentoring of future EE&C Analysts that join the team.


Principle Accountabilities:

  • Manage the day to day operations of the Gas EE&C Programs. Successfully manage the launch of new programs and new territories as required.
  • Manage all facets of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to both internal management teams and to external regulatory parties including the annual report deliverable to the PUC.
  • Manage and enhance relationships with existing conservation service providers, industry consultants, and trade allies. Oversee RFP development and review of new contracts for EE&C service providers.
  • Assist with onboarding and staff development of EE&C Analysts. Participate in ad hoc duties including but not limited to; base rate case support and evaluation of strategic marketing initiatives such as HVAC Contractor portal redesign.
  • Attend stakeholder and industry sessions to remain informed of key regulatory happenings impacting Act 129 legislation and customer offerings.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with PA Act 129 legislation for both Electric and Gas Utility Companies.
  • Prior experience implementing natural gas EE&C programs for both residential and commercial customers.
  • Prior experience working with Conservation Service Providers (CSPs) and HVAC Contractors.


  • Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing or Finance) MBA a Plus
  • At least 5-7 years of experience
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) a Plus
