Job Summary

<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Directly manage and provide leadership to the North Region Operations Support Services Department.  This role will coordinate resources to provide the daily support necessary to meet area and departmental goals.  In addition, this position will manage North Region Meter Reading personnel, including union employees to complete required meter reads, collections, inside service line inspections, and other meter reading activities.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage and provide oversight for area Operations Support and Meter Reading ensuring cost effective utilization of company resources.
  • Evaluate and assess current process management for clerical, administrative, meter reading activities and implement improvements in support of achieving area and Northern Division goals.
  • Analyze all clerical, administrative and meter reading functions and take the lead to implement new technology and strategies to maximize productivity, equalize workload and cross-train associates to sustain departmental effectiveness.
  • Support the Operations Managers and Director overseeing and implementing required programs to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Partner with Operations personnel to collaborate on cost controls and develop effective reporting processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral are essential.  Interpersonal skills are required.
  • Knowledge of UGI policies, Union Contract and accounting procedures.
  • CAD and Mobile Up, DOJM, Webtop/Documentum, Mapframe, PA1 Call, Digtrack/Utilisphere, Karl, ability to read sketches.
  • Organizational and decision-making skills and computer proficiency are a must.
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Visio.  
  • SAP (BOBJ, Fiori, CRM, ECC, GRC), DOJM, R2, Gas Web, On Call database, Kerotest / Inactive Service / Mechanical Tee Application, Leak Application.
Education and Experience
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Area Operations and Administrator Supervisory Experience.
