Job Summary

Responsible for executing the regional restoration plan.  Provides coordination of the paving plan and oversight to Restoration Contractors.  Coordinates with State and Local municipal field inspectors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate jobsite meetings with the appropriate governmental inspectors (i.e., County, City, State) and paving contractors' supervision, to obtain agreement on planned repairs.
  • Oversee quality of work performed by the contractor, ensuring compliance with all State and Local municipality paving standards.  Verifies quantities of work completed and invoice approval. 
  • Investigates and resolves concerns identified by municipalities and customers.
  • Supports Paving Admin II with project reviews and scheduling of contractors. 
  • Communicates updates to Area Engineering, Operations, Sr. Construction Admin, Project Manager.  
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of UGI’s environmental and safety practices, and a working knowledge of paving operations including asphalt, concrete and landscaping, standards and materials.
  • Working knowledge of City, County and State paving and safety specifications for the region.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and written communication skills, ability to recognize problems and resolve customer concerns.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, contract, assign, manage and oversee paving work.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Construction Management preferred.  Associate degree and at least 2 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in gas operations, contractor management, project management, and or paving operations in lieu of a degree.
