Intern - Construction Coordinator

Job Summary:

 

Provide administrative and field support to the Capital Construction Team. 

 

**Employee will work remotely or hybrid due to Covid, reporting office location will be Bethlehem or Denver, PA**

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Support Construction Manager with job site planning & coordination.
  • Assist Construction Manager with completion of daily and weekly project reporting requirements.
  • Complete Preconstruction process ensuring all required documents, PA One Call, permits, schedules, resource plans, material orders etc. are completed for assigned work.
  • Participate in weekly project meetings and report out on assigned responsibilities.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Attention to details and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools and other computer software.
  • Excellent Interpersonal, written communication  and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to track, evaluate and report on status of all deliverables.

 

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, pursuing degree in construction management, project management, engineering or related field.
  • Entry level Role, 0 -2 years related experience.
  • Valid PA Driver’s License.
