Warehouse Job Summary : 

 

To maintain a safe and orderly warehouse related to the install/service equipment, materials, receiving, inventory, truck stock, and staging of equipment.

 

Key Characteristics:

 

  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, parts, materials, and work processes.
  • Strong Organizational skills to manage day–to-day operations

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for staging and ensuring delivery of all equipment and materials to specific jobs
  • Coordinate and deliver all sheet metal runs as needed
  • Ability to handle the cycle counting to comply with proper inventory management
  • Submits all pull sheets for costing on projects
  • Receive & check all PO’s delivered to warehouse- ensure items & quantities are correct – match up PO’s
  • Coordinate pick-up of PO’s at vendors
  • Receive all service parts; Tag & enter into parts log & distribute into Service Technicians bins
  • Ensure inventory is correct and maintained at proper “Par” levels on a daily basis.
  • Submit inventory request weekly on each Vendor to Purchase Agent (each Vendor a specific day)
  • Pull all inventory for Service Tech’s, Plumbers & Installers are requested by them
  • Provide truck stock - pull sheets for transfers to be made in VMS
  • Provide and maintain a safe, clean and orderly warehouse

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

  • Good driving record.
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Ability to manage all responsibilities on daily basis to ensure all work is done efficiently, timely and safe.
  • Foster team spirit with all employees.
  • Ability to run forklift on regular or backup capacity.
