Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of the recruiting process for UGI Energy Services including:  sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing, compensation analysis, negotiating offers and closing candidates.
  • Create position requisitions, create and/or modifying job descriptions, and post open positions internally and externally.  Engage with external recruiters as necessary for selected positions.
  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to proactively identify talent needs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate status communication with managers, candidates, external recruiters and the HR team.
  • Coordinate phone interviews, onsite interviews and debrief meetings with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
  • Initiate background checks, drug screens, job offer and acceptance letters.  Interface with HR Coordinator in onboarding process for new hires, providing backup for this function as needed.
  • Ensure roles are filled in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Ensure that interviewing practices are consistent and fair.
  • Cultivate varied sources of talent and maintain an active presence in the development of a talent pipeline.
  • Enhance and increase awareness of the UGIES Employer Brand by participating in job fairs, engaging with professional associations or other initiatives as identified; ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Manage company career site postings, screening and dispositioning candidates who apply via the UGIES website.
  • Manage postings on third-party databases, including college and university platforms, professional association sites, LinkedIn, Indeed and other similar systems.
  • Train and advise Hiring Managers on ATS, interviewing techniques and assessment methods.
  • HR related duties and projects as required;



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong PC skills (proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional, reliable and self-directing work habits
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive documentation and materials
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, resourcefulness, and ability to prioritize.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of State and Federal employment laws


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree. Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
  • 2 - 4 years of recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment.
