Overview:  We are in search of a HR Coordinator to help facilitate all basic Human Resource functions.  This role will be a primary point of contact for employee assistance and information.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to questions and inquiries sent to HR regarding policy, procedures, benefits etc.
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Create monthly reporting for UGIES Management on reviews, overtime, and time off usage.
  • Monitor the Company drug screening and background program.
  • Create and distribute the Company monthly newsletter and announcements.
  • Maintain and edit content on the company HR portal (sharepoint site) and mobile app. 
  • Assist with exiting employees (notifications, generating separation agreements, and exit meetings).
  • Respond to employment verifications, unemployment claims, garnishments, and other external personnel data requests.
  • Support other members of the HR team with various projects
  • Provide backup for general office support services
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong PC skills (proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access).
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-through, resourcefulness, and ability to prioritize.
  • A quick learner and comfortable working with tight deadlines and urgent requests.
  • Able to develop good rapport and relationships cross-functionally.
  • Professional, reliable and self-directing work habits.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive documentation and materials

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a business major and/or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 - 4 years as a HR Coordinator preferably in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
