Overview: Responsible for a variety of financial duties surrounding the planning, analysis, reporting and cash management functions.  Accountable for the annual budget process, short and long term cash forecasts, income statement forecasts, reporting of monthly financial results, and major capital expenditure analysis/modeling.  Assist in the analysis of acquisition targets and the analysis of internal strategic growth projects.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Annual Budgeting process:
    • Gather and consolidate information from VP’s of different departments/businesses.
    • Coordinate efforts to submit deliverables to Corporate (EPS roll-up, Budget presentation and Budget Narrative).
    • Be the point of contact for any questions related to the Budget.
  • Lead, manage, and own the weekly forecasting process.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the Quarterly Finance and Accounting presentation to UGI Corporate as well as submission.
  • Manage information on Capital Expenditures, ensure files are up to date and project spend curves are considered.
  • Support Finance Director with review of financial models developed by Business Development and make any necessary changes.
  • Financial close – Coordinate and monitor the monthly close process and monthly close financial results file with Accounting group.
  • Manage Financial Analyst and ensure quality of deliverables.
  • Be the UGIES liaison/manager for UGI Corp’s Enterprise Risk Management program.
  • Project Manager for company-wide Data Analytics initiative.
  • Other special ad-hoc projects as needed.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong financial analytic abilities and financial modeling skills.
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.  Possess strong organizational and priority-setting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS office especially Excel.


Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Finance or Accounting related field.  MBA or Graduate degree highly preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years’ of experience in a financial analysis capacity.
  • Energy industry experience is highly preferred.
