OVERVIEW: Manage workstations, mobile devices, desk phones and peripheral devices. Take calls and assist users remotely with various technology related issues.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Manage and support user-assigned hardware, software, printer, email and user accounts support in-person or via telephone, email and other remote support tool.
  • Manage and support hardware and software to support conferencing rooms and products.
  • Tier 3 help desk support, involved with a variety of help desk, desktop, telephone and remote support and involved with a range of IT project work.
  • Work with Telephony vendors in support of phone and mobile solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation pertaining to areas of support, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage ticketing system (JIRA) from beginning to end.
  • Update help desk tickets in a timely manner, with associated information pertaining to the full life cycle of the support call.
  • Troubleshoot IT software products and systems such as but limited to: Office 365 and Active Directory.
  • Provide end user support for various applications and remote access.
  • Provide customer services to all end users, vendors and consultants.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 hosted Exchange, OneDrive, and MDM.
  • Working knowledge of Shoretel phone systems.
  • Excellent technical aptitude, and analytical skills for troubleshooting.
  • Intermediate knowledge of networking and hardware (desktop/laptop/printer/VTC).
  • Intermediate knowledge of PC break fix, builds, and software installations.
  • Strong ticket and documentation management skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with good written and oral communication skills and team player.
  • Ability to execute duties and responsibilities in an organized, and effective manner.

 

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associates degree/technical degree or 7+ years of equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience managing end user computing platforms at least a tier 3 or above.
  • Must have abilities to resolve 75%+ Help Desk tickets without escalation.
