Job Summary

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVER ADMINISTRATOR – CORPORATE OFFICE (CHARLESTON, WV)

We are currently recruiting in our Corporate office, Charleston, WV, for an Information Technology Server Administrator. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages and supports all company server hardware and operating systems.
  • Administers enterprise data backup and recovery.
  • Performs research and testing of software updates and timely installation as appropriate.
  • Manages company SQL databases.
  • Performs daily system management functions.
  • Assists with Active Directory, Group Policy, and other IT functions as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Requirements:

  • Three years related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Proficiency with Windows Server 2016 through 2022. 
  • Experience working in a virtualized server environment.
  • Ability to travel and work after ordinary business hours as required or needed. 

Preferences:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and newer.
  • Experience with Nutanix Acropolis and Cohesity Backup and Recovery.
  • Experience with Powershell or other scripting and automation tools.
  • Natural gas IT experience.
