Digital Marketing Manager

Job Summary (Purpose):

The Digital Marketing Manager will lead the strategy, planning and execution of digital marketing activities for all Amerigas digital marketing activities focused specifically on SEM, SEO and other digital media tactics. This will include multiple sites and both B2C and B2B. You work collaboratively and are critical in driving a digital marketing strategy that grows the business and drives growth for the organization.  You are passionate about the power of digital marketing to build a brand and to drive results and are constantly finding new ways to deliver an engaging experience to our consumers online. You stay abreast of current digital trends are have expertise in this digital marketing space.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with Marketing in development of the digital marketing strategy, focusing on driving awareness, consideration, lead generation and/or customer acquisition, and conversion optimization.
  • Implement the online programs by leveraging the digital infrastructure and identify new tools and opportunities to evolve platform.
  • Responsible for recommending, planning, coordinating and executing digital marketing campaigns, measuring performance and optimizing based on testing/learnings.
  • Work with agencies and internal partners to develop, manage, and deliver creative assets such as online marketing banners, digital ads, emails, landing pages, and on-site promotional placements.
  • Lead projects tied to the creation of new digital assets, including defining requirements, gathering key stakeholder requirements, managing vendor relationship, navigating internal IT process, developing training, and executing roll-out
  • Develop, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns to achieve key performance metric goals. Marketing channels include PPC/SEM, SEO, retargeting, other digital media/tactics.
  • Manage and optimize multiple two specific brands serving both B2C and B2B from a digital marketing perspective.
  • Consistently explore and present new and impactful digital marketing tactics and methods for expanding reach and engagement with customers.
  • Utilize metrics and provide recommendations for optimization of campaigns and digital strategies
  • Collaborate across multiple functions, including marketing, pricing, digital product management, legal and regulatory, to ensure alignment.

 
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 

  • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience with 2+ years’ experience in managing digital marketing initiatives including lead generation, search engine optimization, pay-per-click, search engine marketing and social media.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytics tools such as GA360.
  • Proven track record of understanding business, brand and marketing strategy and integrating into the digital marketing efforts and roadmap.
  • Ability to stay on top of new digital marketing trends and technology.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Extensive analytical skills as well as the potential and desire to succeed.
  • A creative individual with strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to senior management and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Self-starter with ability to take leadership in unstructured and fast paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Leadership abilities to drive execution and ideas across the organization.

 

Education and Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business or equivalent
  • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience with 2+ years’ experience in managing digital marketing initiatives including lead generation, search engine optimization, pay-per-click, search engine marketing and social media.
